On July 21, an exceptional agricultural machinery event took place in the fields of Labūnava, Kėdainiai district, where the completely redesigned Case IH AF combine harvester series model AF10 was demonstrated for the first time in Lithuania and the Baltic States. This is a new generation of harvesting equipment that combines 775 hp, automated control systems, and smart digital solutions.
According to Dangis Valaitis, Managing Director of Dotnuva Baltic, the AF10 model is a response to the challenges faced by modern farms. “Modern farmers face short harvest periods and increasing productivity requirements. The AF10 allows for more efficient use of time, reduces labor costs, and ensures high crop quality. Automated digital solutions help manage information and make decisions on the go.”
Despite the overall decline in the combine market, the rotor-hybrid segment is growing rapidly. With nearly 50 years of experience in rotor technology, Case IH has earned the trust of farmers around the world.
“Case IH harvesters have been helping farmers do the most important job on the farm for decades – harvesting crops. We are proud that the new generation of rotary combine harvesters and the most powerful of them, the Case IH AF10, are being presented in Lithuania,” said Andrea Ferri, Director of Northern Europe and the Baltic States, during the event.
A technological leap forward with a 775 hp engine
AF10 combine harvester, powered by an FPT Cursor 16 engine, develops an impressive 775 hp, has a 13.7 m working width MacDon FD245 cutterbar and a 20,000 liter grain tank. This configuration allows for non-stop work even in very large fields, ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency.
New generation AFXL rotor – greater efficiency and lower losses
The Case IH AF10 features a 40% longer single AFXL rotor, which significantly increases the threshing area, reduces grain losses and ensures high quality even during intensive work.
This solution allows for more efficient crop processing and increased profitability.
Smart combine: Harvest Command™ and FieldOps™
The AF10 features an integrated Harvest Command™ system that uses sensor data to control threshing parameters in real time. Meanwhile, the FieldOps™ platform allows farmers to remotely monitor the combine’s performance, analyze harvest data, and optimize processes. Operators can choose one of four operating modes based on their priorities: performance, quality, loss reduction, or balanced operation.
Perfect grain cleaning system – even on slopes
The Cross-Flow Plus system ensures even grain distribution even on uneven terrain. Automatic sieve adjustment (up to 28% slope), a cleaning area of 8.76 m² and an additional turbine fan with automatic speed control ensure high working quality in all weather and terrain conditions.
