The latest Lithuanian Reputation Index, conducted by Civitta, evaluated the country’s leading organizations and revealed key reputation trends. This year, Akola Group was included in the study for the first time and immediately recorded one of the strongest improvements among all assessed companies, with its index increasing by nearly 13 points to reach 43.
For the eleventh consecutive year, Thermo Fisher Scientific was named the company with the strongest reputation in Lithuania, followed closely by Tesonet. From the public perspective, the pharmacy chain Camelia holds the leading position.
In the public sector, Investuok Lietuvoje ranks highest among opinion leaders and in the overall index, while Inovacijų agentūra leads in public perception.
The Reputation Index is one of the most comprehensive studies of its kind in Lithuania. It evaluates companies across various criteria, from products and services to leadership, workplace environment, innovation, and responsibility. The study reflects the views of the general public, opinion leaders, and decision-makers.
The 2026 survey included 1,222 members of the general public, 462 opinion leaders, and 462 decision-makers. They evaluated 53 companies across 9 sectors, as well as 15 public sector institutions.
A key insight from the study is that business reputation has stabilized, while the gap between foreign-owned and Lithuanian-owned companies has decreased. Biotechnology, startup, and pharmacy sectors continue to lead, although their advantage over other sectors is gradually narrowing.
The survey was conducted between February and March 2026.
